Orville Fjeldheim was a pilot of B-25's in China-Burma-India theater during World War II. He served with the 490th Bombardment Squadron, 10th Army Air Force also known as the "Burma Bridge Busters".

He received his wings on 12th March 1944 at Pampa, Texas and arrived in India in September 1944 to start his missions form 3rd October. On 13th April 1945 his unit was send from Warazup, Burma to Hanchung, China Orville was honorably discharged on 25th December 1945. He completed a total of 203 hours in 44 missions of which 20 as commanding officer on a B-25 bomber.
