Warren G. Heintz served as a Radio-Operator with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He arrived with 532nd Bomb Squadron, 381st Bomb Group on March 26th, 1943. On September 3rd, 1943 he flew a mission to the airfield of Romilly sur Seine in France with Aircraft A/C 118, piloted by 2nd Lieutenant Daniel D. Hagarty with 534th Bomb Squadron, 381st Bomb Group.
Warren Heintz was killed on October 8th, 1943 when the Boeing B-17F-75-BO "Ole Flak Sack", 42-29854, he served on was shot down by a Germang fighter near Diepholz, during a bombarding operation on Bremen.
