"Throughout the period under review this Warrant Officer has carried out the duties of Troop Leader in addition to his normal duties with great skill and success.

During the October to January operations this Troop was continually engaged in heavy fighting. He accounted for a considerable quantity of enemy material. By his skill and personal boldness he so operated his tanks that he never lost a vehicle. A fine disciplinarian and a very gifted and enthusiastic trainer he has shown himself to be a very fine Tank Troop Commander."
