Recommendation:
For having distinguished himself by courageous conduct against the enemy when in May 1943 he was, being a student, conscripted for slave labor in Germany, having gotten his hands on important drawings of the V-1 in the factory where he was being employed, having acquainted himself with the production of the V-1 and subsequently having escaped to the Netherlands. After his return having made contact with an intelligence group in order to send to England a comprehensive report on the V-1 and the existence of the factory concerned.
Further, as collaborator of said group, having deserved himself well up to the liberation in 1945.
By this conduct, having rendered valuable services to the Allied war effort and to the Government of the Netherlands.
