Awarded for his part in the assault on the Belgian Fortress of Eben-Emael.

Oberjäger Grechza was the only member of the Sturmgruppe Granit that was only awarded the Eisernes Krreuz II.Klasse and not the I.Klasse also. This was beceause of the fact that he was found drunk on Dome 120 at Eben-Emael bt Oberfeldwebel Wenzel.
