“Oberfeldwebel Georg Heinzmann… demonstrated great bravery and independent resolve during the fighting in the Crimea on several occasions while serving as a Zugführer in an MG Kompanie. At one point the Bolsheviks succeeded in achieving a local penetration into the German lines, however Heinzmann managed to seal off the affected area with a handful of Grenadiers and thereby prevent an enemy breakthrough.”
