Jan Zajac served as s Kaporal (Corporal) with 2. P.Panc., 1. Pol.Dyw.Panc. (1st Polish Armored Division). He died of his wounds on March 18th, 1945 at the Hospital in Sint-Michielsgestel. At first he was buried at the temporary cemetery "Schijndelseweg" in Sint-Michielsgestel. His remains were later transferred to the War Cemetery at Uden.
