    Biography

    Leonard Arthur Butcher was killed on January 28th, 1945, with Pilot Flight Lieutenant Jack McPherson Richardson, as Navigator and the rank of Flight Lieutenant, when their aircraft, DeHavilland Mosquito KB153 from No. 16 Operational Training Unit, crashte crashed after engine failure near RAF Barford, St.John, Oxfordshire.
