Biography

Kurt Hartmann was killed on August 30th, 1944, after the Fieseler Storch in which just had taken off with General der Infanterie Paul Laux, was shot down by Soviet fighters near Tukums-Dzukste. Hartmann was instantly killed, Laux (died later in Feldlazerett 158, Riga) and the pilot were severely injured.
