Recommendation:
He has distinguished himself in the face of the enemy, having joined in the fall of 1941, a large intelligence group, rendering valuable assistance to said group which later on grew into a very important source of military intelligence for Our Government in London. Not only did he gather valuable military information but by passing it on he maintained frequent contact with an agent dispatched from England, until het was arrested by the enemy in November 1942. Finally he distinguished himself by his exemplary conduct during his imprisonment. After having been sentenced to death, he was executed in July 1943. By his conduct, he has rendered valuable service to the Allied prosecution of the war and the interests of the Dutch Government.
