"Flying Officer Pare has carried out 37 sorties with this squadron and has proved himself to be a very capable and reliable Air Gunner. He has often been instrumental in saving his aircraft from damage by light anti-aircraft fire by giving his captain concise directions and replying to the enemy's fire.

His ability has been a source of extreme confidence to his crew, and has thereby greatly added to the efficiency in which they have carried out their allotted missions.

Flying Officer Pare always displays great keenness to operate, and sets an example to all, both on the ground and in the air."
