“General Henrici has distinguished himself during the seizure of the Polkonitsche bridgehead over the Popowka river (28.07.1941) and in the creation of another bridgehead near Talnoja (29.07.1941). which was followed by a southerly thrust towards Novo Archangelsk that majorly contributed to the sealing of the Uman pocket. By these actions, made possible by his superb leadership, extraordinary decisiveness and self-sacrificing devotion to duty, General Henrici has had a decisive influence on the course of important military operations!”
