Frank PAVLETIC a Jugoslav national, took a Jeep along the Mission store to save a large quantity of medical stores that had arrived the night before. On their way back to Mission HQ they came round a corner and saw a body of enemy some hundred strong crossing a field to cut the road some 50 yds ahead of them. The leading enemy were actually on the road. Sgt. HOBSEN who was driving, at once accelerated and drove right through them. Practically every an fired at them and Major BREATZ(?) of this missions subsequently counted 14 bullet holes in the Jeep.
