    Biography

    Pilot Officer of 15 Squadron and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force under no. J/15164. He was born on 18 March 1921, the son of Max and Gertrude Masur from Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa. He crashed his plane, a Short Stirling W 7624 on 27 August 1942 between Culemborg and Geldermalsen / Beusichem. The plane had a mission to bomb Kassel.
