Biography

Rank: Captain

Learned to fly in Poland. Flew in 317 squadron. Stationed in Ghent Belgium 1944.

After the war employed on DC-3 in Pakistan to fly over the "Hump". Thence to establish West African Airways based in Lagos Nigeria in DH Rapides . Continued to fly for WAW, what became Nigeria Airways in F-27 ( also during the Biafran war) then F-28. During his annual leave from Nigeria Airways he flew tourists from Germany to the Balearen for Baal Air.

After retirement from Nigeria Airways he flew Cessna 421 for Pan African Airlines. Retired from flying with more than 23,000 flying hours.
