Wolf Wellmann achieved a total of two air victories. Accoridng to Zeng's Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries Wolf Wellmann was killed in action on July 24th, 1944 near Baltinawa, Latvia. According to the Bundesarchiv he was born on June 9th, 1924 in Hohenbellin. In the Volksbund databas only a Wolfgang Wellmann is mentioned. This one ohowever was bornon another data and place and althoug also killed in action in Latvia, this was on another data and place.
