Biography

James McNelis served on board HMS Prince of Wales and as such was involved in the sinking of the Bismarck for which he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.
He was lost at sea when the ship was sunk by Japanese aircraft, two days after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
