Biography
Son of Arie Johannes Teljeur and Maria Doornveld. Sergeant in the Royal Dutch East Indies Army (KNIL). Killed in action while travelling to Timor with other KNIL soldiers as reinforcements when the ship, the HMAS Armidale, was sunk by Japanese torpedo planes on 1 December 1942.
