Lieutenant
Unit:
No. 15 Convalescence Depot, 21 "C" Sub-Area, Headquarters Line of Communication, Headquarters, 21st Army Group, British Army
Awarded on:
April 4th, 1946
"This officer has carried out the duties of Administrative officer of 15 Convalescent Depot with outstanding ability. For three months in addition to his other duties, in the absence of a Catering Adviser, he performed the duties of Messing Officer. By his untiring energy, constant thought and ingenuity on behalf of the patients, he undoubtedly was largely responsible for the speedy return to health of many of the patients and for the comfort and well-being of all of them.

It is certain that, without his unsparing efforts, ceaseless devotion to duty and constant cheerfulness in all difficulties, the successful results of the unit could not have been achieved."

Recommended for a MBE.
