Biography

The 31 May1942, the ship 'Mimosa' started an escort mission from Greenock (Scotland) for convoy ONS 100 towards the United States.
During the night of the 8-9 June 1942, the ship was torpedoed by German U-Boot 'U 124'. Almost all the crew perished, 65 sailors and their commander Capitaine de Frégate Birot.
