Biography

Assigned to the head of the Rouen subdivision in February 1946, he left a year later for Indochina where he commanded the Plei-Ku sector in the south of the territory.

Very seriously ill, Henri Bourgeois was repatriated to health in August 1948 and died on September 1 in Val de Grâce. He is buried in his native village of Port-Louis.
