"This Officer has been head of the SD Branch of 2 Polish Corps since its inception, in addition to carrying out the normal duties of his branch with outstanding efficiency, he has been responsible for the executive side of the FMN and equipment with vehicles and he controlled stores of the whole Corps during the period of its inception and through its stages of expansion to its present composition, which includes a large number of supporting Army troops, his duties have far exceeded those carried out normally by the SD Branch of a Corps, and have been executed in an exemplary manner in a spirit of complete cooperation with his British colleagues in higher formations.

At times during the Italian Campaign, there have been a large number of British Troops under command and his grasp of problems and his outstanding efficiency has ensured the maintenance of their equipment as well as those of the Corps."
