PFC Leon Skabicki served with Headquarters Company of the 60th Coast Artillery Regiment at Fort Mills, on Corregidor. He was taken prisoner of war after the Battle of Corregidor. He was one of the 24 POW's killed during the American bombing of Camp Hoten.
