Biography

Gustav Wagner was the deputy camp commander of the Sobibor extermination camp. He earned many nicknames for his cruelty, including "The Beast" and "Wolf". Wagner was sentenced to death in absentia. He was ultimately unmasked in Brazil, where he was arrested. According to official reports, Wagner committed suicide.
