"This officer has been Station Armament Officer since the opening of the Camp. He has shown great energy, determination and devotion to duty in the performance of his work. He has worked under arduous and at times dangerous conditions and has always shown the same cheerful spirit and has never spared himself in his important work. He has been of great assistance to the Air Crews, who have greatly benefited by the knowledge imparted to them. By his untiring efforts he has brought the Armament Section to a high degree of efficiency."
