"This Warrant Officer, by continuous hard work and genuine efficiency, has been responsible for the outstanding good work of the Armament Section of this squadron. He has been responsible for maintaining a high standard of efficiency in his Section, regardless of the extremely arduous weather to which we are subject. The efficiency of his section has been largely due to the example which he himself sets in hard work and devotion to duty, Warrant Officer Heywood has been in charge of No.77 Squadron Armament Section since 8th May 1941."
