Rank: Flying Officer, Unit: 428 Sqdn., Royal Canadian Air Force. Son of Albert Edward and Bessie Calburn Evans, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Earle evans was killed when Avro Lancaster KB846 was shot down when flying at 12,000 feet.
The aircraft took off at 16:44 hrs for a bombing operation against Hagen; shot down.
