Crash Site B-17 Flying Fortress 42-12485
B-17 Flying Fortress 42-12485 of 388BG/562BS was hit by German flak fire and crashed along the Groenekanseweg on 28 May 1944. Three crew members were killed. Seven others were captured.
A memorial was erected in 2014.
