War Memorial Donald Barrett Baexem

War memorial dedicated to Donald Barrett, 24 years old, who was part of the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He died on November 16, 1944 in Baexem during the clearing of a mine field, on the connecting road between Baexem and Heythuysen.

Operation Mallard started on November 14, 1944. On November 17, 1944 Leudal was liberated. This memorial honours the British soldiers and their divisions that took part during this military campaign.
