This memorial commemorates the 11 residents of Baexem who lost their lives as a result of war during World War II.

Trui Levels, 31, killed in a bombing raid;
René Penris, 4, killed in a fire in a self-built air-raid shelter;
Wilhelmien Penris, 7, hit by a British army car after the liberation
Frans Evers, 69, killed in shelling by British aircraft;
Maria Slabbers, 36, Hermana Brus, 24 and Jacobus Brus, 64, killed in a British shelling;
Lies Konickx, 19, killed in a German shelling;
Chretien Bos, 5, Christiaan Hupkens, 77 and Johannes Hupkens, 78, killed in a German shelling.
