On the Catholic cemetery in Silvolde is the war grave of:

T. Rutting
Born 26-02-1898
Died 27-06-1944

Killed by acts of war in Rees.

There is also a cross here with two names. These are written in black with the names of H. J. G. Mulder and P.J. Margins. They were victims of Rees camp and through exhaustion and malnutrition these men died in the boys' school in Silvolde.
