Resistance Monument 1940 - 1945
The three images symbolize three stages of the liberation process, namely 'Oppression', 'Resistance' and 'Freedom'. The resistance fighters in the Second World War also went through this process: from the oppression they dared to resist, to freedom. The resistance is central and forms the middle between the state of oppression and the state of freedom.
