Crash Location Lancaster W4888

The W4888 was on mission to Dortmund on 5 Mey 1943. The airplane was shot down south of Workum.

Pilot Officer William T. Lewis
Sergeant George W. F. Reynolds
Sergeant John M. Hadfield

Pilot Officer Paterson was able to get out of the plane. He was taken POW by the Germans. The 6 fallen crew members are buried at the general cemetery.
