Westwall - Bunker 121a

Part of the Westwall or Siegfried lIne, Bunker 121a is a Regelbautyp 107, a double machine gun position, manned by 12 men. 762 cubic metres of concrete were used in its construction, but it is today in ruins and wire netting prevents entry to the structure. It was also used as an ammunition supply point for other bunkers in the area.

We are only a couple of km from the Belgian border here.
