Crimean Peace Memorial Attleborough

This unique monument stands at the busy cross roads of Surragate Street, Station Road, Thieves Lane and Connaught Road in the Norfolk Market Town of Attleborough. It is not a war memorial but a Peace monument erected in 1856. It commemorates the ending of the Crimean War (1853-1856).
