Former Airfield Snetterton Heath

The airfield was built for the USAAF in 1942. The 96th Bomb Group flew their missions with B17's from here in the period June 1943 till December 1945. Today the Snetteron motor racing circuit is based here. Much of the wartime tracks are still recognisable. There's a large toy shop and a garden centre. In the cafetaria of the toy shop there are photo's of wartime Snetterton on display.
