Text on the plaque, at the entrance of the Fondation de Rothschild:
In memory of the hundreds of Jewish children and old men who, from 1942 to 1944, were rounded up by the Vichy police at the orphanage, the hospital and the Rothschild hospice, then deported and murdered in the Nazi extermination camps.
