Memorial Massacre 24 and 25 August 1914

At this place the Germans executed 37 civilians, from 16 to 85 years, on August 25th, 1914. In total 69 civilians were murdered and the whole village was burned down by German troops. A fresco was placed behind the cross in 2014.
