Grave War Veteran Cemetery Soesterweg

This is the burial site of W.G.A.C. (Willem Gerardus Antonius Cornelis) Christan. This Dutch Major General of the infantry of the Indian army fought in the Lombok expedition in 1894. On April 9, 1895 he received the military Order of William for this. He also received the Lombok cross for this.
