Memorial "Sokol" Battalion
This plaque commemorates the "Sokol" battalion who fought in this area during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. In the text is also an unusual event mentioned of the temporary truce on September 1944 in order to enable the Germans to collect the bodies of their killed soldiers from the outskirts.
