This plaque commemorates those members of the RAF who were killed in accidents at the Beverley Aerodrome during the First World War.

This memorial was erected by the women of this district who were organized by the vicar of Bishop Burton for service at the canteen of the Young Men's Christian Association in the camp. The greater part of which lay within the parish.
