These plaques are dedicated to:

The soldiers of the Kent Regiment who gave their lives in the South-African War (2nd Boer War).

The former pupils of the King's School who gave their lives: Henry Jeffcoat in the South-African War (2nd Boer War), Arthur Molesworth in Nigeria.

Captain Henry King (drowned in 1857) who was wounded in the Crimean War.
