Historic Dockyard Chatham

The Historic Dockyard Chatham is a great place to visit because of it’s historic architecture, historic ships and museum galleries. For WW2 enthusiasts HMS Cavalier is probably the most important exhibit. It was the Royal Navy's last operational Second World War destroyer and is now preserved at Chatham as a memorial to the 143 British destroyers and over 11,000 men lost at sea during the war.
