Memorial Lancaster MkII DS734 KO-Y

This memorial commemorates Lancaster MkII DS734 KO-Y of 115 Squadron which was shot down on this location in the night of 15 April 1944.

The casualties who were mentioned on the memorial are: Pilot Off Robert-Roland Cagienard, Flt Sgt Frederick Albert Foster, Sgt Joseph-Murdock MacLeod, Sgt William Shorten, Pilot Off Albert Clayton Letcher, Sgt Frank Desmond King and Sgt Charles Philip Kelly. It was their eight mission. They are buried in Schoonselhof Cemetery in Antwerp.
