Sea Plane Base & Service Area Naval Ships Napa Napa

Napa Napa was an RAAF seaplane base in 1942, after which it was put into use as a service area for small boats of the Royal Australian Navy and US. Navy in late 1943.

Napa Napa was attacked by Japanese fighter planes on 28 February 1942, sinking two PBY Catalina sea planes and killing one Australian serviceman.
