Crash Site P-39D Airacobra 41-6800
Heavily damaged by friendly AA fire, P-39D Airacobra #41-6800 was ditched on Daugo Island on 9 May 1942. The pilot survived the crash. The wreckage was salvaged by the U.S. Army during the war.
