Kokoda Trail - Etoa ("Lost Battlefield" or "Japanese Forest Fort")
This area was developed into a fortified area by the Japanese in 1942. It saw heavy fighting from 22 to 29 October 1942. The area is off-limits for trackers until the last live-ammo and human remains have been recovered.
