Memorial Resistance fighter

This plaque commemorates the death of Cornelis Odijk, a member of the resistance and of the N.B.S. Odijk was killed on 8 May 1945 by German fire that was shot from a bunker on the Marnixlaan.

The date is mentioned on 5 May 1945 on the plaque, but it later turns out to be on 8 May 1945.

The name of Cornelis Odijk is also mentioned on the sixth stone with names on the war memorial at Fort De Bilt.
