Gavutu Harbor (Seaplane Base Tulagi)
Gavutu Harbor served as Australian seaplane base from 1939 to 1942, when it was captured by the Japanese. The Allied recaptured the base on 7 August 1942 and continued to use it until 1945.
There are a number of (ship)wrecks located in the harbor.
