Belgian War Graves Zele

The cemetery of Zele contains a plot of honour with the graves of military and civilian victims of the First and the Second World War. Other war graves are scattered throughout the cemetery.

Grave Memorial at the cemetery of Zele in remembrance of three resistance fighters who died in German concentration camps. HOOGEWIJS Maurice and NUYTINCK Cyriel, executed by the Germans at Gorden-Brandenburg on 15 November 1943, and VERHAVERT Jan who was executed at Bautzen-Dresden on 1 April 1945.
